Andrew is the Chief Investment Officer & Portfolio Manager of MCA Cross Border Advisors Inc. & MCA Cross Border Capital
With a distinguished career spanning over 20 years in the financial industry, Andrew brings a depth of knowledge and expertise in portfolio management, financial planning, and client relationship management. He holds the designations of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA), and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
In his recent role as Chief Investment Officer at a U.S. based trust company, Andrew led the Investment Committee and Asset Management Committee, overseeing the investment management of $4 billion AUM of high-net-worth clients. He has a proven track record of managing substantial portfolios, implementing strong financial planning processes, and providing personalized investment advice.
Andrew’s extensive experience includes senior positions at Northern Trust Corp., where he served as a Personal Investment Portfolio Manager and Associate Portfolio Manager. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated expertise in asset allocation, risk management, and investment analysis across public and private markets.
Earlier, he served as the Financial Education Consultant for JPMorgan Chase & Co., in Chicago travelling nationwide as a subject matter expert for major retirement plan participants. Andrew received his Bachelor of Arts in History at the University of Chicago, his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at Indiana University, and his master’s in business administration from the University of Florida.
In addition to his professional achievements, Andrew is committed to continuous learning and development. Andrew is currently pursuing a Master of Computer Science (MCIT) at the University of Pennsylvania. He holds the designations of Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst. He is a past board member of the CFA Society Tampa Bay.
Andrew’s proficiency in financial data software, financial planning software, coding languages, and portfolio management tools underscore his commitment to excellence and innovation in the financial services industry.
